How are caregivers verified?

We conduct a strict 4-step process: NIC identity verification, Grama Niladhari clearance, checking of nursing/caregiver certificates (NVQ), and an in-person behavioral interview.

Which areas do you cover?

The platform is designed to launch initially in the Colombo and Gampaha districts, with plans to expand island-wide.

Can I book hospital care and home visits?

Yes. Our caregivers are available for in-home care, hospital bystanders, and post-operative support at medical facilities.

What if I need urgent help?

Carenest is designed for planned care bookings (at least 2 hours notice recommended). For medical emergencies, please always contact 1990 or local emergency services immediately.

How do payments work?

Payments are handled securely through the app via credit/debit card or bank transfer. Funds are held in escrow and released to the caregiver only after the shift is completed satisfactorily.
